Large scale print fabrics and "cheater prints" work great for the skirt. You could use a pieced quilt top, chenille bedspread, kantha cloth, or vintage tablecloth! Or purchase an inexpensive pre-made quilt from a big box store to cut up and use! You could even use a vintage quilt! Wear the quilted skirt to quilting events, guild meetings, or anywhere you'd typically wear a skirt! Pair it with a matching quilt coat or cropped jacket to complete the look!
