Back To Our Roots

We're going back to our roots of how it all started....ONLINE only!

Most of you are fully aware of the situation.

For those that aren't....the apartments above Subway caught fire. Our shop, Subway, and apartments are all connected. There is a stairwell that separates the shop from the rest of the building, which we are greatly thankful for, since we only got smoke/soot damage.

Everyone keeps asking when we'll be back open?
Or are we opening a new brick and mortar shop?

We did not own our portion of the building....we rented. We've been in communication with the landlord and there were several options discussed and wanting to make the building better for everyone. Once the clean-up and restoration were done, the landlord said they'd give the tenants first dibs. So we were waiting for that to play out, since we love the location...and the little red building is so charming and cute. We loved that we were bigger on the inside...it really delighted customers when they came in to see we weren't some small, one-room shop.

Well the other day the landlord called with some sad news. They have made the decision to just tear down the building. It will cost too much it fix up...way more than what it was insured for. They will start tearing it down around spring time.

So for the time being we'll be back to online only for now. We are on the lookout for a new location, but there just isn't anything available. I know a lot of you have suggested other towns near by and right now that doesn't fit our needs. We want to stay close to home, which means staying in Hicksville for now. We have several feelers out, whether it's something we can rent or even possibly buy. If you're local and hear of anything that maybe available, feel free to email/message us with the information.
